How much will a community engagement exercise cost?

Every project is unique and therefore will need different levels of support, and will require a different approach. However, to provide you with some guidelines we can offer a ballpark figure for a few of the most common community engagement methods we are involved with.

• Basic print such as a Leaflet with distribution, plus the same information hosted digitally on our website.

• Design and print of max 1000x A5 double sided leaflets with relevant distribution

• Application/scheme proposal hosted on a specific page of our website

• Preparation of a Statement of Community Involvement provided as a PDF that can be easily uploaded into a planning application portal

• Collation of a document detailing the email and postal responses to your consultation

Cost from £3750

Basic print such as a Leaflet with distribution, plus the same information hosted digitally on our website and a public exhibition

• Design and print of max 1000x A5 double sided leaflets with relevant local community distribution. This included information about the public exhibition and an invite to residents and businesses.

• Application/scheme proposal hosted on a specific page of our website

• Collation of a document detailing the email and postal responses to your consultation

• Design and print of max 4 display boards for the exhibition. These are usually sized to AO and printed on standard 4mm foamex. These are provided with easels to allow for ease of set-up. Additional design and print of a signage board for the exhibition. As with the display boards these are usually sized to A0.

• Design and print of max 100x 8page consultation/scheme brochures. These are usually sized to A4.

• Design, print distribution of invite to stakeholders such as councillors, members of the planning committee etc to attend your public exhibition

• Helping with the running and hosting of a one-day public exhibition. If needed this can include the attendance of one of our expert community engagement consultants. These costs do not include venue hire and set-up or refreshments.

• Preparation of a Statement of Community Involvement provided as a PDF that can be easily uploaded into a planning application portal

We will take charge of the whole or specific part of the project. If needed we can design and facilitate one or multiple events ranging from short meetings to full-day workshops.

Our expert team can develop and deliver training on a wide range of topics, either in your premises or at a separate venue.

Our experienced team of stakeholder engagement specialists can help you engage effectively with the stakeholders that you need to reach.

Our aim is to work with you and conduct any engagement activities to ensure that the views of as wide a range as possible of your stakeholders will be heard and feel confident in contributing to the process.

We have the knowledge and experience to bring together groups of local people willing to talk about your consultation. Our experience allows us to draw out the real thoughts and feelings of the group participants providing you with effective information.

We specialise in working with hard to reach groups and have developed proven ways to ensure that the voices so often overlooked in consultations are heard.

Our aim is to build consensus using our own innovative methodology to assist you with effective decision making. These methods involve working with all stakeholders pursuing joint solutions that can be further developed. To make sure you are reaching the right mix of stakeholder, we suggest that a preliminary part of the consultation allows us to carry out a stakeholder audit. This then allows us to work together mapping out the widest group and stakeholder representation.
